This journal is mainly for my own personal use, to chart my progress during my weight loss journey. Originally, I had this set so people could rate it, but I got a really low rating in a review from someone who didn't understand the purpose of this item, so I copied and pasted the entire journal into a new item and deleted the original, then I set this new version so nobody has the ability to rate it.

This first set of figures was when I lived on Casa street in San Luis Obispo, California. If you see a gap of time between two dates, it is because I weighed a certain amount on one date, then gained weight and lost until I reached a new milestone. Sometimes, I might weigh say 254, then for a week my weight fluctuated above that weight, then a week later I was back down to 254 again. If that happens, then I might record the new weight even though it is the same amount as the week before. As of June, 2012 the lowest I've ever gotten down to is 238.5 pounds. I'm hoping I can get down to the 230s range and stay there and not jump back up to the 240s, that is my short term goal. Eventually, I would like to dip down below 200 pounds, that's my long-term goal.

I am including a BMI (Body Mass Index) chart for someone who is my height (5'-11.5") so I can easily reference when I have crossed certain thresholds:

My goal is to weigh 180 pounds, and have a BMI of 24.8! That would put me within the normal range.

In February 2009, me and my Aunt and Uncle moved to Whittier, but we didn't find my digital scale until March. There is a track used by the Sheriff department that I walked several times a week. The most laps I ever did was 7 miles worth.

I got paid on October 28th, and between then and the first week and a half of November, I pigged out on fast food and went up to 248.5 pounds. As of November 12th, I went back on my diet and started getting back down to where I was before.

The Holidays came and went, and I gained some weight, but never significantly over 250 pounds, maybe a pound and a half over that. I saw a weight-loss ad that said your liver can't process fat as effectively when you ingest artificial sweeteners, so I stopped eating Sweet-N-Low with my oatmeal in the mornings, and I'm trying to cut down on diet 7-Up.

My birthday was yesterday on January 13th, and I pigged out on cake and ice cream. Starting today, I plan on going on a strict diet and staying away from fast food for six months.

I decided to go back to eating peanut butter sandwiches on wheat bread for lunch on my days off, because that's what I had been eating during the Fall semester when I lost a lot of weight. I'm making a conscious effort to stay away from cheese and quesadillas. I'm also trying to stay away from milk, because I noticed that when I gained a lot of weight, I had been drinking a lot of milk, despite that it was lowfat. After doing this for one day, I lost half a pound!
