![]() In the beginning God created pi, needing a ratio, a standard mean. The gravitational constant was next; He designed this so matter would attach, engineering all such substance we see. Black holes are also part of God’s lab-- eternity might begin at their gate. Gold from a supernova, fusion ring, it sets the stage for stellar termini, nudging nebulae, reigning in a sun. Neutron stars abide, the forces within immensely strong, crushing the nuclei. Noble gasses, along with cosmic rain, generations of Heaven’s stars blazing. Genesis of all there is, like a blog omnisciently opened so long ago; divine are the laws that govern our stead. [Rhythm: 10] (Lines: 18) Double Acrostic: “In the beginning God” (Reads down at both beginning and the end of each line.) (Pi is the ratio of any circle’s circumference to its diameter, equal to approximately 3.14.) Lighthouse Contest 12; January 2012
