Well-Earned Gold
Talent is well-earned gold in any sector - a poem.

Our patience can yield such outstanding rewards,
In that future we’re presently reaching towards –
But when does the talent we know we don’t lack,
Prove that all doors exist in the back?

For what’s still implied, and seems most ignored,
To enjoy greatest blessings and have things restored,
Is that true and honest talent may keep us employed –
Musters the courage so that we don’t get annoyed!

Whether sports or medicine, business or sales,
Manufacturing or services, our job so entails,
That lack of cohesion or perception of the facts,
To recognize mistakes and how the boss-man reacts…

Our gratifying resolve has both comfort and feel,
A sense of vitality, and a purpose that’s real;
For it’s well-earned gold, both in back and in front,
An opportunity to manage, to stay, and to grunt…
