A Journey Not A Race It's as if the years had vanished, God just dropped me in your life. Two souls adrift on empty seas, Without a husband or a wife. The very different lives we've had, So many stories we could tell. Finding though love is wonderful, Many times it hurts like hell! In search of joy and happiness, Within the choices that we faced. Surviving long enough to know, "Sorrow," "Loneliness" - the taste! We are older and much wiser, Appreciate this life, our space. Very hopeful of our future, For life's a journey, not a race. Once again we have each other, Uncertain times, a different place. I am grateful for the comfort, Found in your love, your smile, your face!
