-The Impassible Divide- by Keaton Foster Red is the dog that will die like the wolf Fear is a dream that I have always had Hope is the fire that does not burn Love is the greater impossibility of this life I wonder each day, what am I doing No reply is forthcoming, such questions endure Purpose, meaning, mystery without reason The power of everything that I am or could be Comprehension I dare scream to those Who could never ever begin to truly understand I wish I could make them, but I cannot The god they so easily decide, I do not know Faith, the impassible divide of my existence Every bridge built, has been burnt down Each attempt to cross has been met With and ever-widening need to remain Right where I am, where I have always been All redemption has been set aside There is no way, never will there be I know it all too well, and so does he The god that so many others dare believe Death will come, in time such a thing will be Seen as the sun in the darkness of my sky What will happen after death is unclear These words, my everything, my soul Is all that I know, is all that will remain The impassible divide is deep inside of me The same place it has always been, and will be… The Impassible Divide Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2012 Biography
