Forever Memories

A night of passion underneath the starry sky,
Embers of desire fanned into a burning flame,
Emotions arose, gliding, then began to fly.
Two lives would never again be the same.

Embedded with hearts of youth,
Overcome with a love of the moment,
Unable to understand the whole truth,
Recklessly, rules were broken, not bent.

When separated, there is a soul-deep loneliness,
That seems to lock them in a fiery prison,
Controlled only by their emotional senses,
Insisting, steadfastly, this is really THE one.

The seasons seemed to depart so fast.
Summer transformed into fall with the wind whispering through the leaves.
Breathtaking ties formed that would last,
As they sculpted forever memories.
