(Night time. Dean, Ali, Sam and Castiel are sitting in the living room of the Winchester Home.)
Ali: What is wrong with you people? There’s always an answer. You brought me back before. Why can’t you bring Jo back? Castiel: It’s not that easy. I’ve tried. To be honest I didn’t bring you back, Dean did. Ali: Whoever did. I don’t care! Just bring my sister back. Fix your mistakes. (She runs up to her room. Dean tries to run after her, Sam stops him. Sam goes to her room.) Sam: Can I come in? Ali: Fine. Sam: I’m sorry. You know that. We all are. None of us wanted Jo to die. Ali: You chose me over her. You could’ve changed that. Sam: She made that decision, not us. Ali: I hate myself for losing her. It’s my fault she’s dead. If I hadn’t come back here, none of this would have happened. Sam: I’m gonna bring her back, but I need your help. Meet me in the car at 11:30 p.m. Ali: Okay. (11:30 p.m., Ali and Sam are driving to the cemetery.) Ali: What’s the plan anyway? Sam: We kick some ass. Ali: I remember getting my ass kicked last time we tried to kick some ass. Sam: (Laughs) Relax, You’ll be fine. {Sam turns around, Dean walks in.} Dean: You will be fine. Because I’m not gonna let Sammy here do anything stupid. Ali: I don’t need your help thank you. Dean: Oh, I think you do. See I know that little spell he’s going to try. It won’t help your sister much unless you're dead. It reverses what was undone. Ali: I don’t care, better me dead than her. Dean: It’s gonna hurt like hell. Ali: I don’t care. I’d only go through hell for three people, but do you know who they are? You, Sam and Jo. I’d let someone torture me endlessly if it meant you, Sam or Jo got to live another day. Dean: That’s what scares us. Ali: It doesn’t seem to scare Sam. Give me the spell. {Sam hands it to her. Castiel Flashes in.} Castiel: Don’t do it Ali, please. I’ll bring her back. You win. (He does.) Jo: Ali? Ali: Yeah. Jo: You’re okay. Ali: I’m fine, you? Let's just all get out of here before something goes wrong. (Castiel flashes out. Ali collapses to the ground. Everyone rushes to her side. Dean feels for a pulse.) Dean: She’s breathing. Ali wake up. Come on. Jo: Ali? Ali. Sam: Get in the car. {The hospital. Ali is intubated, and unconscious. Jo is holding her hand. Dean is sitting on the other side of Ali holding her left hand. Sam is talking to the doctor and comes in with news.} Dean: What’s wrong? Sam: They don’t know. Her pulse is normal. Blood pressure’s normal. The only thing that’s wrong with her is that she won’t wake up. Jo: So, do we just wait now? Sam: I guess. {Doc. Comes in} Doc: Her Vitals look stable. All her tests came back negative. I don’t know what’s wrong with her. Was she on any drugs? Dean: Just pain killers. Doc: What’s the drugs name? Sam: Vicodin, why? Doc: Do you have the drug on you? Dean: I have two pills on me. I carry extra in case her pain is bad. Doc: (Dean hands the pills to the doctor.) Their tainted. Sam: What? Doc: The medicine was poisoned. When I find out what poison it is she should wake up. (Doc walks out. Jo Says to Ali…) Jo: You hear that baby girl, you’re gonna be fine. Dean: She loves you, Jo. She… I should’ve known. Jo: Should’ve known what? Dean: They were tainted. Sam: How could you have known that? Dean: She had the outburst in the living room, last night. Sam: You just thought it was her. We all just thought it was her. Jo: What outburst? Sam: She screamed at Dean and Castiel and ran up to her room crying. Jo: She never cries. Dean: I know. I just thought she really missed her sister. {Doc walks in.} Doc: The poison is Kalmia Latifolia. The pollen was dusted into the pills. Do you know how many doses she has taken? Dean: At least 9. Two pills is considered a dose, we were only given 20 pills. Doc: There is no treatment this late on. I’m sorry. Sam: Wait, what do you mean? Doc: Has she been depressed, had a seizure or had difficulty breathing, before now. Dean: Yes to all three and she had a rapid pulse when she collapsed. Is it normal? Doc: Yes. My advice to you. There is nothing I can do for her anymore. Take her home. Try to make her feel comfortable for her last few days. I can wake her up. She’ll be confused and weak, but that’s partially the sedative and partially the poison. {takes out the tube in her throat, injects something into her arm. She wakes up.} Ali: What happened? Jo: (Crying.) Dean: We’re taking you home. Ali: Good, I was getting tired of this. Doc: Sign these and you can go. (Jo Signs them.) Rest, Relax and don’t push yourself. It will shorten the time you’ve got. {He Exits.} Ali: Shorten the time I’ve got? Am I dying? Sam: Relax. Ali: Please, just tell me. (Dean gets up on the bed and hugs her.) Dean: You’re dying, but I’m going to find a way to save you. Get Cass to heal you. {Cut to home. Dean brings Ali some water. Lifts up her head.} Dean: Slow. Ali: Thanks. Dean: I don’t plan on letting you die. Ali: That’s sweet dean, but last time you saved me Jo died in my place. I’m not taking that chance ever again. Dean: I’ll find a way. You just rest and get some sleep. (She falls asleep. Sam and Jo walk in.) Sam: How is she? Dean: She’s holding on. I don’t know for how much longer though. She’s weak. Jo: She’ll hang on. She’s got all of us in her. She’s a Winchester. She’s strong. (Cass Flashes in.) Castiel: How’s she holding up? Dean: She’s weak, I’m gonna keep her alive though. Castiel: That’s what I came here for. Let me heal her. Jo: No. There’s always side effects. Castiel: Not this time. She’s actually far worse where she is now. Jo: What do you mean? Castiel: I can go back to when she collapsed. Change what happened. What I do will be more painful, but she’ll survive. Sam: What are you gonna do to her? Castiel: Put you all in a horrible car crash. She’ll be injured. It’s so much easier than what she’s about to go through. Dean: Fine. Jo: Fine. (crying) Sam: Fine. {Car crashes, Dean, Jo and Sam wake up. And try to wake Ali up. Hospital. Ali is hooked up to 2 machines, a ventilator and a machine that is monitoring the tubes in her stomach. She wakes up.} Dean: Hey. Ali: Hey. What happened? Dean: We all sorta got into a car crash. You dislocated your right shoulder, are bleeding internally, broken your right ankle, sprained right wrist, and have a severe concussion. Ali: Was I driving? Sam: No. I was. The driver of the other car was demonically possessed. And he slammed into your side of the car. Ali: I don’t remember anything after Tuesday. Dean: That’s normal. You hit your head pretty hard. Sam: The doctor said you could come home in 2 days. Ali: Good, ‘cause I hate hospitals. Jo: (laughs.) {Next day. Hospital.} Jo: Morning. Ali: Morning. Dean: How are you feeling? Ali: Fine. I mean I’m weak, but that’s normal considering all of my injuries. {Doc walks in.} Doc: You have a slight fever, but we’re watching it and controlling it. If all goes well you can go home tomorrow. (Doc Exits.) Ali: Like I said. I’m fine. Sam: We love you. I know it seems like we’re over protective… Ali: whoa, hold on. Who said you’re over protective? Dean: (Laughs.) I can’t believe you actually survived that. You’re not a wimp like I thought. Ali: I swear the second I can smack you I will. (Sam laughs.) (Next morning.) Ali: Hey. Sam: Hey. Ali: Where are Jo and dean? Sam: Trying to get the house ready. Don’t tell them I told you. Ali: Please tell me they didn’t go crazy. Sam: Just act surprised. You don’t have to enjoy it. Ali: Fine. Sam: How do you feel? Ali: In pain. But that’s an improvement considering I couldn’t feel anything before. Sam: It’s going to be a painful recovery. Luckily I have painkillers. Ali: Thanks. Sam: That’s what big brothers are for. Ali: I love you. Sam: I know. {Home. Ali is lying on the couch. } Dean: How are you feeling? Ali: In pain, I guess. Jo: It’s still an improvement. Ali: I know. It’s gonna take time. My wrist and my shoulder feel fine. Dean: That’s the minor stuff, that’s why. {Ali tries to stand up, dean goes over to her.} Whoa, take it easy. Here, let me help you. Ali: I’m not an invalid you know. Dean: I know. {She smacks him.} What was that for? Ali: At the hospital. I told you I would. {Dean laughs. He lies her back down on the couch.} Thanks. Dean: You’re welcome. I Love you. Ali: Love you too. Dean: I don’t know what I would’ve done if I had lost you. Ali: Found a replacement sister. Dean: I wouldn’t find one as perfect as you. Ali: You’re probably right. Dean: I know I am. Ali: So cocky. Then again I’m exactly like you. I love you way too much. Jo: Don’t let it cloud your judgement. Ali: I won’t. Sam: We all love you. Ali: I know. (Cass flashes in.) Cass: I just wanted to see how you are. You okay? Ali: I’m fine. Thanks to you. Cass: You remembered? Ali: That’s the only thing I do remember. You sent us back in time. Cass: She must’ve hit her head pretty hard. Jo: No, I remember it too. Dean: We all do. Jo: Guys, she’s bleeding. Ali: Wha…(She falls into shock.) Jo: Wake up Ali. Come on. Dean: They said she’d be fine. Ali. Wake up. Cass: It’s not going to help. Sam: What did you do to her? Cass: Exactly what was supposed to happen. God ordered me to let her die. I’m sorry. (Flashes out.) {Ali is bleeding heavily. Jo Grabs cloths. Dean puts pressure on her wound.} Ali: What’s happening to me? Jo: I don’t know. You’re going to be fine. Sam: Just hold on. {She falls unconscious. Dean Checks for a pulse. She’s not breathing. Dean starts rescue breathing, and compressions. She doesn’t respond.) Jo: come on, don’t die on me. Sam: Please baby don’t die. Dean: You can’t die on me, come on dammit, breathe. (Jo stops Dean.) Jo: She’s dead. There’s nothing we can do anymore. Dean: (He starts compressions and rescue breathing again.) She’s not gone. I’m gonna save her. Sam: Sometimes you just can’t save people. Dean: Not Ali. She’s my baby sister. I can’t live without her. I love her Sam. She’s the reason I’m alive. Jo: I know. Sam: We both know. (Sam feels for a pulse.) Wait, Keep going Dean. I think I got something. It’s weak, but she’s breathing. Keep going. Jo call an ambulance. Jo: Sam monitor her. (She picks up the phone before she can dial 911, Sam says.) Sam: She’s gone Jo. Jo: What? I thought you said that you felt a pulse. Sam: She was alive. (Jo feels for a pulse.) Jo: I can feel something. (Ali wakes up for about a minute long enough to say.) Ali: (Weak and Raspy.) I love you guys. (dies. Dean feels for a pulse. Nothing. End credits.)
