So long I’ve waited, so long I’ve dreamed;
So long I held on to false hope it seemed. And then I heard it, right there you were A miracle of love, strong, steady and sure. Like a light in the darkness, a symphony of love; A blessing, a gift, from the heavens above. And there in that moment, with that tiny flutter My own heart stopped beating, no sound it would utter. New worlds have opened, New dreams become real, No words can explain the love that I feel. Like a warm summer rain, beneath crystal blue skies; Like the love I feel looking into your father’s eyes.
