I Wish

I wish,
To dream,
But the pain is killing me.

I wish,
To bleed,
But my heart beats deeply.

I wish,
To feel,
But my emotions are too real.

Numbness,
Come devour me,
Take this pain,
That I’d like to wish away.

Crying tears of bitterness,
Wishing things hadn’t come to this.

Scared little girl,
In a crowded world,
Begging to be found,
Wishing You could reach down.

Tortured mass of,
Doubt and despair,
Wondering if my God even cares?

Deliverance comes swiftly,
My God has not deserted me.

I cry out,
You hear me,
Your love pours out for me

My love,
My God,
My Comfort,
And My Friend./b}
