Me and Thee

Walking shores of bleached white,
Just you and me on a moonlit night,
Lives filled with unabashed glee,
For everyone to see.

Daylight brings another day,
Together we find our way,
Not giving in to gloom
As we return from our honeymoon.

Now it’s time to begin our new life,
You and me, as husband and wife,
You complete me,
And I complete thee.
