-When The Mountains Crash The Sky- by Keaton Foster Upon a distant wind Reality is creeping in Unknown to me Unknown to you. We have not a care We are very much alive More than most Our love has survived. Our commitment has thrived Our feelings remain strong As clear as the brightest day As wide as any distant range. We fell in love one warm summer's day Our hearts crashed into each other Easily stopping the world from rotating Easily displacing the time When we knew nothing of each other. Many battles have since been waged Many ups and down have been faced But our love has been a constant factor When at times there seemed to be none. We are committed to not giving in Defeat and death are the same thing Our promise to God is our salvation His gift to us was each other Such a gift cannot be given back. Life, the greatest of surprise We have no idea what is coming And how it will leave us changed The feelings we have could become lost Never to be replaced in any way. When the mountains crash the sky You and I will face our greatest divide We will be torn apart, split down the middle Separated by our needs and our actions. We will scramble to save ourselves We will do what we feel we must Our actions will be full of consequence Those who depend on us will be in doubt. Love will be the only thing that will save us We can't allow ourselves to lose it along the way True love that is undeniable in every way Only it will have the power to bring The mountains back down from the sky. Only love can restore what to us Will certainly seem eternally broken It is our salvation, our saving grace It has always been and what is coming Is by the far the greatest of test. When the mountains crash the sky And all that is you and I Seems to have fallen away That is when we need to be stronger Than ever before. That is when we will need to say More than any time since the day we fell That our love is stronger than the will Of the world that is trying to tear us apart… Mountains Crash The Sky Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2012 Biography
