Stardust in the Heavens
A poem about gazing into the night sky, full of dreams and desire - enjoy! |
| Amidst the brisk, nightly chill Of a quiet and peaceful valley, Bright speckles of light shimmer And dot the evening sky – Folks of all ages take lengthy peeks At their euphoric eminence and sparkling grace, And marvel at the crisp, glowing, fiery embers… Above the calm, tranquil lighting In nearby, homey windows And the reverberating glow Of numerous streetlights, These denizens of the clear evening sky Shower love and hope upon millions With their empathic beams Of glistening stardust, Lifting youthful spirits And warming many satisfied hearts… Much dreaming and such cherished memories Accompany their radiant journey To our earthly and sacred abode, As the spritely sun gives daily rise To those enduring and magnificent celestial bodies. |
