Just One Time
We lost an unborn child before our two daughters were born. We just lost another. |
| Daddy’s little babies, I love with all my heart. Taken away to Heaven before their lives could start. Each had a personality, had a face, would have a name. They would have shared their love with me, and been loved back just the same. I wish for one thing only before Heaven’s stairs they climb. To hold in my own arms, my babies, just one time. ___________________________________________ I'm happy to announce that since I've written this poem we have accidentally gotten pregnant again. We're praying for a healthy baby this time. |
