So Strange Why is green, fading away Changing scene becoming grey Where’s the air I used to breathe Still you cut the trees I can’t believe So strange Gloomy clouds share the sky With iron birds that often fly And take us away to a distant place Or release their missiles on a troubled race So strange The world is shaped by twisted minds Who have no ears and are also blind They just don’t seem to understand That the fate of the world rest in their hands Oh the sea once so blue and plenty Slowly becoming black and empty And the sun’s unkind fiery light Found a hole in the sky to burn with all its might So strange Dewi Hughes
