The Mystery of Christ
by David A Johnson

Will you walk with me a moment
and let me speak to your heart,
so we can learn things together
which can never be torn apart?

As it is true of our physical lives
that we learn of life as we go,
we all have a deeper part
from which our emotions flow.

Because these natures are intertwined
both our emotions and mind,
each one influences the other
so it is a balance we must find.

We need a way to deal with emotion
which seems to require thought,
so how can you reason the two
unless better wisdom's sought?

If you understand this
then surely you must know,
that in order to be our best
we need better wisdom to grow.

Now I'm not saying it's impossible
to achieve this on our own,
but we've spent a long time trying
and still a better way isn't known.

Therefor each has their own sense
of what to them is right or wrong,
so then is it really any wonder
many are hurt trying to get along?

There is way I've learned is better
and is far more than a perception,
it can provide us with a change
greater than any humans conception.

Imagine no longer guessing
as to the wrong or right of anything,
for every human is in agreement
to that better way of being.

If it seems this is impossible
I agree it seems so now,
but before Jesus was made a God
he taught a way to learn how.
