Rewrite chosen vignette into a 300-400 word scene using the POV of your choice.. Third Person Omniscient. Narraton done by a third person.

They were both married late in life; she was forty-four, he fifty-seven. Love was the motive nothing else. They both took the Pre-matrimonial psychological exams, and the two were found to be immensely compatible. Would you believe it, the tests proved to be true, they both have found they are extremely compatible? Who can say why some disbelieve in psychology? Compatibility does not mean perfection. The two understood more than anyone how imperfect they were. The exam said compatible but did not say saintly compatibility (if there is any such thing). There were squabbles over distribution of chores and whose family was the most loving or maybe a heated discussion over money, but I need to shed some light on these statements. They lasted less than a quarter of an hour.

Fifteen years have passed, and happiness hasn't evaded them. The American philosophy, "every citizen has a right to the pursuit of happiness," proved that the pursuit is one thing but finding it another The two had pursued happiness all their lives, but not until they found each other and traveled the same path did they find it, and there is more to come. What they found while pursuing happiness in their own way was that their way ended up in sadness. They both liked eating and drinking. They liked dating and staying out late. They frequented bars and stayed out late. Even their sadness was empty.

Sorrows ensued. Kathleen's alienation from her family was due to her obesity. Chip's sorrows took the form of illness. He inherited a case of depression, though mild, he needed to go to a hospital a few years. Thank God they turned to their parents' Christian teaching and fought their way back to a balanced life. Years have passed since their conversion (they say deeper conversion happens each day.) The two pursue eternal happiness now.
