Long have I waited, only to endure, The pain of each passing day; This state of mind deserves no cure, Thoughts of hope carry me away. Hope – that was once a prisoner Within the walls of a rebellious heart, Shall stay dormant no longer , But a tumultuous revolution start. Secrets that were carefully buried, Are no longer safe from spies; In a weak moment of greed, Betrayed by my own eyes. Reviving deep scars of the past, Which were never meant to heal; I’ll try to put them in a cast, With time to stamp the final seal.
