Each phase of life brings something new, New joys to share, and sorrows few. But never till now did I feel The biting sorrow so soon heal. And now there remains no sharp sting, That leaving home once did bring. Here I feel I’ve suddenly grown, With bright intellect, previously unknown. And in every novel experience, lies the quest for independence. At each moment, as a stream Sees the river, see I my dream. I thank thee God, for this new day, With flowers strewn on my way – I mean my friends, with whom I share, Each happy moment, without a care. For life is easy when there is love, And you are blessed by the Power above.
