You:
Are broken but together Want to love but are held back Alive but feel dead I: Am right beside you Am just as distraught as you are Cannot feel happiness when you are in despair Tired and lonesome, you may feel Remember others are worse off Even if that is the only way to get through And pray that God has not forgotten you Many need those prayers you send Like the near-dead and the homeless Like the abandoned animals Like the neglected and abused children Like the women who have no choice but to say yes Like the child prisoners who have no life but to kill Like the child slaves brought up into prostitution There is so much wrong with the world Will there ever be any right?
