Black man with skin the color of mahogany
Black man with hair so kinky and curly If we don't love our Black man, who will? Society goes out of its way to destroy and kill The spirit of our Black man, but its resiliency is only matched By its counterpart within the Black woman, in which society tries to detach From the Black man by trying to hold him back But he stands strong against every psychological attack Intended to break him down and tear him apart; Willie Lynch tactics but Black man has heart. He's tough and strong, a powerful Mandingo, He continues pushing through every "boy," "Nigger," and "Negro." In the face of adversity, the Black man laughs, "How dare you attempt to break me in half?" His mind is strong, his spirit isn't weak, His body is mighty, his voice isn't meek. No weapon formed against him shall prosper and what a poor weapon you make. Your failed attempts are completely useless; what more can you try to take? Black man, a threat to so many because he refuses to be torn down. Jealousy and hatred are wrongfully deflected towards this man of brown. I love my Black man, no one can sway me differently. Black man is all I want; the one meant to complete me.
