Here I Am, and Here I Stand
Everyone has been associated as part of a group, whether by charateristics or acts.

I draw what I notice,
I write what I feel,
So you call me emo.

I have my own way of thinking,
I have my own style that is unique,
So you call me weird.

I don't like large groups,
I tend to be on the outside,
So you call me a loner.

I think differently than your dirty mind,
I have a pained mental mind,
So you call me gay.

I don't act like you,
And I don't idolize you,
So you call me a retard.

I don't do drugs,
And I feel pity for those who do,
So you call me a church boy.

I have had issues with people before,
And have a hard time trusting,
So you call me a hater.

I don't do sports,
I'd rather play board games,
So you call me pathetic.

I don't look attractive,
And obesity is genetic,
So you call me fugly.

I help others as much as I can,
And I don't think twice about lending a hand,
So you call me a bitch.

----------------------------------------------------------------

You mock every aspect of my life,
You laugh at my problems,
So I consider myself hated.

You insult my heritage,
You treat me differently,
So I consider myself an outcast.

I hide so many secrets from you,
I hide my true self from you and everyone else,
So I consider myself a shadow.

So here I am and here I stand,
Atop my mountainous thoughts,
To reflect on what to do,
Because while you see one side,
There is always a side I keep from you.

Day and night I think about my life,
Knowing I've felt much pain,
Trying to keep myself together,
To deal with stress and put on a smile,
even when I'm deeply under the weather.

So here I am and here I stand,
Dimensions away from you,
Knowing how deeply I've been scarred,
Because while you may think it harmless or funny,
You will never realize the damage it does until like my soul,
my body bleeds from sharp objects to become limp and hard.
