The Silver Broach - 05/07/03
A song written in Fairplay, Colorado after buyinq an antique silver broach for my wife..

The silver's untarnished,
The gems they still shine
like the sun on the high country snows.

And the years that have passed
since it first graced a lass
are a secret that nobody knows.

But I know it's no secret, the way that I felt
When I first saw it there in it's case.
For what I saw there was a vision so fair,
a reflection of my darling's face.

Now the silver's untarnished,
The gems they still shine
like the sun on the high country snows.

And the years that will pass
while it graces my lass
are a secret that nobody knows.
