Light and Shadows

The dying sunlight streaming through your windows,
the blinding crimson flood keeps night at bay.
The orange river flowing gently 'round your pillows,
your silouette is all that's left of day.

Only light and shadows left between us,
the fading shades of gray soon disappear.
Your touch comes gliding softly as the night bird.
I can see the moonlight dancing in your hair.
