Melancholia (The Way Of Lonliness)
An overview of the state of mind in loneliness and the desire to get out of it.

The mind runs over the brain,

Where emotions fall like rain,

Blind faith defeats reason,

Darkness overcomes the brain as it tries to season.

Through the mind’s dark, infinitive halls,

Rotten memories raise their infectious calls.

Through the vagrant mist I walk alone,

People around me but no one to hear my silent groan.

An invisible hammer is crushing me down,

Lonely in this dark, candescent town.

Take me away from this serene grave,

Out of this barren hell, sunlight is what I crave.

I have lost the feeling of warmth of the pleasant morning sun,

Through the brazen streets of unpleasant past, amok I run

Numb is my brain with the morphia of solitude,

The solitary, non-existent entity without any meaning, without any attitude

Time flies with me through the distant past as I try to see some light,

Trying to finding some warmth but impenetrable shadows is the only sight

Isolation freezes my life, coldness grips my heart,

Trapped within a world, a world apart,

Emptiness is eating me from within,

Against this unending terror of lunacy and madness, I cannot win,

I am staring at the end in silence, looking for someone to fill the void,

swallowed in the empty vastness, the light I await alone with my psyche destroyed.
