My Love
A love poem.

When I saw you that day,
I knew that you would be my everything.
Lightness to my Darkness, Clyde to my Bonnie.
I could be anything for your heart's desire.
I would be a friend for comfort in the days of dark,
A soul mate to tell your deepest and darkest secrets.
A protector for when the world treats you wrong.
Maybe Fate has a path for us, but when my choice I pick you.
And if I die in this eternal quest of mine,
Do not fear, my love, for I will be here.
I will be watching from a star above as the days pass,
The guide for however many footsteps you may take.
No matter how old you may grow I will be waiting,
When that angel comes for you on the fateful day.
And once more we will be the Alpha and Omega,
The Moon and the Sun.
The One and her Only.
