Lost, I feel lost
Lost in myself
I crave acceptance
What I am is not
My head is spinning
The ground is churning
Allies are enemies
Friend or lover?
Take me down
Where I stand
Universe lend a helping hand
I’m allowing myself to understand
Myself and how I feel

I love myself
I love life
I love the stars
I love the light
I love my family
I love my friends
They love me back
It will not end
I accept my power
I accept myself
I know they will too
When I tell them how I feel
I like men
I like Women too

There I’ve said it
It’s is written
I accept it
It’s who I am
The tension is gone
But anxiety lingers
Who will remain?
Who will still love me?

I know the answer
Those who truly loved me all along
Those are the ones who will stand beside me
When the tides of life grow strong
Everyone else no longer matters

Love surrounds me
Love encases me
In a healing embrace
And I embrace myself
I take what I have been given
And I will use it
It is not designed to bring me down
It is mine to claim
It is mine to hold
It is mine to keep
It is mine to share
And share it I will
When they are ready to take it
I will know when they are ready
