Love Sonnet (2)

Juxtaposed feelings of love and of hate
Make me crazy and determine my fate
Whether I like it or not now I’m late
To the starting of the race from the gate
For your hand in my hand like it or not
Life with your kind would cause many cancers
I can’t get my thoughts sorted on the spot
Or just rely on my heart for answers
My brain is mush when you enter the room
If I could I’d sweep it out with a broom
I’d feel freedom from this impending doom
But I can’t stop wanting to be the groom
I know nothing and my heart just races
Help me Lord my head is in ten places
