- Like A Coin That Won't Get Tossed- by Keaton Foster Like a coin that won't get tossed Forget me, dare not Place a value on my life Any arbitrary amount As long as it's more Then the nothing of before As long as the sum is far Greater than the Totality of the equation Then there is a chance That you can still save me Hold value in my name Be glad that this life The one that you gave Amounts to something That you can finally live with The implications of such an action Will have far-reaching consequences For the first time I will try I will stand up and live the good fight I will make something of your nothing As long as I know that never again Will I be thrown down, into the gutter Like money that won't be spent Because alone, by itself The amount of its value Is seemingly worthless to those Who hold it in their hands… Like A Coin That Won't Get Tossed Written by Keaton Foster Copyright © 2012.
