I believe waking up was the hardest part
going to bed with a broken heart
because I think I saw you in my dreams
at first I thought I was hallucinating
whether or not you'd be here with me

But I guess I was wrong
thinking you would be here
every breathe I take reminds me of you
I think Im becoming mentally ill
because I'm seeing images of you
Im having hallucinations about you

I believe waking up was the hardest part
going to bed with a broken heart
because I think I saw you in my dreams
at first I thought I was hallucinating
whether or not you'd be here with me

Just trying to get out of bed
is the hardest challenge I ever took in my life
can't even sit up, so I roll out of bed
and onto my knees, now every part of me is in pain
I guess the only thing I can do is dream

It hurts too much to live
because Im scared to think about you
Too scared that I might see you
Its the hallucinations that makes me think of you

I believe waking up was the hardest part
going to bed with a broken heart
because I think I saw you in my dreams
at first I thought I was hallucinating
whether or not you'd be here with me

Waking up can be the hardest
but getting over you will be the greatest challenge
guess there will be many nights
that I will hold this picture frame
so close to my heart
