Zoo Dream
I wish that I could Swim at a large zoo Just like the graceful Huge sea lions do. I would bark and wave At the good girls and boys And make them all laugh At all the weird noise. I’d frolic and dance As best as I could And make the kids gasp Like I knew that I should. I’d swim and I’d dive. I’d play and have fun And when I’d get tired, I’d go lay in the sun. I’d be given dinner Of great yummy fish. Then I would show them How to eat with no dish. The man in the red cap Would then come to play. He’d toss toys and give chase And perform twice a day. My favorite, of course Was the game “Hide and Seek” And from behind my flipper I’d sneak a quick peek. At the end of the day When the crowds had all gone, I’d relax in the water And bark out a yawn.
