"Now, where's that stupid cat..." Summer said, as she looked through her notes. "Roarrrrrrrrrrrrr I' m right here, on the page in front of you." "Your not a cat. If I'm not mistaken, aren't you a Lion? What are you doing in my story?" she said, tapping the key board. "I' m a 'Big Cat'. Don't you know who I am? I am Frank the bum, I was in a tale you wrote, about me and a Genie. The name of it was "A New Transformation for Frank." "Okay, okay, that still doesn't explain why your in this one." "Well, do you recall the end of the story? I was worried about how to pay for the estate and what I said." "Yeah, you said, how am I going to pay for the place, when I'm as poor as church mouse. Then, you turned into a mouse, right?" "Yes, but then I couldn't keep my big mouth shut and I said even though I'm a mouse, I have the heart of a Lion and then I turned into a one." "So, why are you in this story?" "I'm stuck, Summer, because you ended it and never turned me back to Frank. So, I must be on your mind or I wouldn't be here." "That's ridiculous, I was going to write a story about a house cat that liked to play hide and seek." Summer said, as she pulled up the link, for Create an Item. "I typed a rough draft on my Microsoft Word program this morning." "Will you help me? I want to be Frank again and all you have to do is rewrite the end of the story. Then, I'll be gone from your mind and you can start over." "I can't believe I'm having a conversation with a character that I created from another tale," she said, staring at the computer screen. "How do you want me to end it Frank? Do you want Estella to break the spell, and you can never be turned into an animal again? Maybe, I'll have you and her build a home in Paradise Cove on that beautiful beach." "I don't care where I live. I just don't want you to leave me in the cat's body, okay?" "Hold, on Frank. I have to go to my portfolio and pull up the item." Got it. I 'm going to change the ending. Here we go." * * "Oh! No! Frank, Frank where are you? I keep telling you to watch what you say! Here we go again." "I'm down by your foot. Don't step on my tail! I might be a mouse, but I have the heart of a Lion. Oh! No! I just did it again, Estellaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Roarrrrrrr!" "Don't worry Frank, I’ll be right back. I’m going to get a potion from the Great Jin to break the spell, so you will never be turned into another animal again.” Estelle snapped her fingers, and she was gone. Frank sat there licking his paw, waiting for her to come back. He shook his big, thick, golden mane and sat on his haunches, looking at the ocean. Suddenly, Estella appeared with the bottle in her hand. She took off the top and opened Frank’s mouth and poured the liquid down his throat. Within a few minutes, he changed back to his human form. She grabbed his hand and whispered in his ear. Whatever she said, he nodded his head yes. Then, he turned around and saw the estate that he wanted in France, sitting on the beach in Paradise Cove. They both stood there holding hands, as the sun’s golden orange mist, went down over the horizon and disappeared in the sky. "Well, what did you think of the new ending? Did you like it Frank? Frank, Frank. I guess he's gone. Now, I can start my entry for the contest."
