The sun was nearly down. The villiage of Arka was very small but nice. Not many people lived there, about 30. Arka was a very nice place to live in. Everything was great, the sparkling sunset view, The loving caring families. It was all great exepet for the sheriff. Sheriff Baymore was more evil than the green goblin. He never forgived and always was a corrupt theif. Everyone hated him, and they didn't understand why they put him as the sheriff.
It was 8'o'clock, in the morning. The sheriff got of his stinky ruckbed and took a breath of air outside. The sheriff was a racist man. He hated everyone who wasn't white, just like him. A black boy was runinng and playing happily with his little sister. Until he bumped into the sheriff.
"You stinky filthbag!" grunted the sheriff. He picked up the boy by his collar and threw him into the aisle river.
"NOOO!" The mother screamed. The boy drowned to his death. Later on the family was order to be assissinated by the sheriff. He was the true evil now.
It was dark and cold that night. An innoncent family was slaughtered. The sheriff layed on his bed snoring and asleep. A rustling noise came from outside. The sherrif awoke. Anxoiusly he grabbed his shotgun and pointed it at the clanging door.
"Who's there?!" he shouted. A man with a black hat and long clock came popping out. He had a face of fire. It was blazing. He had dark eyes and no mouth or nose but he still talked.
"AHHHHHH!!!!" the sheriff screamed with terror.
"Shut up please..." The blazing man spoke.
"You..you can speak!" replied the sheriff. His gun still pointed at him.
"Of course I can idiot!" said the blazing man. He walked closer to the sheriff, and the sheriff screamed for his life.
No one heard from the sheriff from that day. He just dissappeared. No one knew who the man was who killed him. But justice was sweet.
The library was a quite place. A place of freedom as some people call it. People were reading marvellous books and comics and non-fictions and it goes on. However James was just 'chilling' in the library. James was a bit tall, for his age. He was only 14 and growing rapidly fast. He had brown bushy hair and pale soft skin. He wore a black shirt with a lightning arrow on it, and there was a small food stain on it. He also wore rough jeans and nike purple high shoes. He was reading an interesting book called Space and us. He examined the front cover and kept reading.
James glanced at the Crime books section and saw about 4 men in dark gothic long clokes. It wasn't normal. They had an evil look and there skin had a redish shade to it. They were just walking about and annoying little kids. James obsereved them for about 20 seconds and then kept reading.
The gothic men came upto James and snatched his book of him while he was reading.
"Hey! What the hell?!" James demanded
"Hello, Jamesy boy!" replied thier leader
"Who'd you know my name?" James asked
"We know a lot of stuff about you James" grunted the leader
"Just..go away and stop bothering me!" James said. He took the book off the leader.
"Ooh! fiesty..but i'm afraid you have to come with us now" the leader said. The leader slapped the book out of James' hand and grabbed him by the arm and pulled him.
"Hey! Where are you taking me?! Let me go!" James demanded. The whole library just watched as if it was the best ever TV programme. All of a sudden, a man blocked their way. He was quite short, and wore a red glittery hat and a blue tie suit.
"Hmm..where are you taking this poor innocent child?" the man asked.
"Who have we got here! It's little Rye!" said the leader. James noticed the man's name was Rye.
"Let him go shadows." demanded Rye. Looks like the men were called shadows.
"No way hozay!" replied the shadow.
Rye gave the shadow a punch. A fight had broken loose. It wasn't a normal fight, it was crazy. The people looked like they were super strong. One of the shadows lifted the desk with one hand and threw it on Rye. Rye managed to move out of the way. He jumped on a table and flung onto the a shadow and twisted his head. The shadow fell on the ground. It was dead. Bookcases were falling and it was all a mess. Rye grabbed a bookshelf and threw it at a shadow. Another dead. Or possibly death by bookcase. One of the shadow kicked Rye on the stomach and Rye fell 10 feet back, banging his head on this wall. He instantly got up and took and chunk out of the wall and threw it at the shadows head. The shadow collapsed. James crawled on the floor and was crawling his way to the exit like the other customers had. Meanwhile, Rye had one shadow left to kill, and no wonder it was the leader. Rye grabbed a chair and threw it onto the leader, the flew back on the bookcase and the it fell right on top of him.
"That was easy!" Rye said in relief.
James got up and obsereved the trashed library.
"Ahh! James!" said Rye.
"W..hat happened?!" replied James. Rye walked towards James.
"Ok. Basiclly..You are the key to this. Me and a man called Blaze fight crime and save the world. Now those people were shadows, an evil race that want to destroy this planet and use the left over energy for their planet, but me and Blaze won't let that happen." explanied Rye
"But has this got to do with me?" said James.
"Well, your father invented a machine to destroy these shadows but it needed a code to unlock it, and your the only one who knows the code. And if we are not succesesful, It will be destiny's end and the world will end." replied Rye.
"Yeah! my dad was working on something, but he didn't tell me what it was. Until now of course. Just before he died he told me the code. I think its..."
"Wait! not here, it's not safe." Interuppted Rye.
"You see Blaze is the only one who can save us now. And you of course. Wait..And me." Rye said.
"Who is this Blaze guy?" asked James.
"Your going to find out soon..."

Blaze & Rye Chronicles: Dark Journey
My name's Ryan and I created this story. The next is coming out soon.
And it takes a great mind to create these charecters and so on.
But if you have a dream, never give up.
As I once said. "Never give up on something you can't go on a day
without thinking about it." This story just popped out of my mind.
And imagination is the key to the perfect story (That is unless your
writing a true story). This book was inspiried by a few things.
First by the 'Ghost Rider' comic. And the 'Skulduggery Pleasent'
books. So something may inspire you like it did to me. Anyway the
next chapter will be great! I have to go now because my cat has
just sat on the computer and won't get off. Stupid Cat!!
