Perfect Crime
Rated: E | Poetry | Death | #1852300
Story of a man who lost his wife and struggles to cope without her.
Perfect Crime

Should I even really care?
I am lifeless in these eyes
As I wonder if she’s there
Or if heavens in those skies

When will she be back around
The question has not been replied
Pain’s the only thing that’s found
Knowing my life love has died

Can I make sense of this now
Can this make sense somehow
Do you think that God allows
Me taking her place in the clouds

This complete heartbreak
A perfect crime
What did God just do?
He made a mistake
Just one more time
I wish to hold you

It seems just like yesterday
You were wearing wedding white
We would watch the children play
Then kiss each other goodnight

For many remaining years
I’ll be so hollow inside
When Gods light finally appears
I’ll be ready for the ride

Can I make sense of this now
Can this make sense somehow
Do you think that God allows
Me taking her place in the clouds

This complete heartbreak
A perfect crime
What did God just do?
He made a mistake
Just one more time
I wish to hold you
