The Face Of Evil

Hear me all people's
sharing life on this planet,
let us stand up together
against the few who damn it.

Those who wall themselves against us
holding control by deception,
and cause the very things
insuring reliance on their direction.

It is they whom are terrorists
who by self imposed will,
make sure we stay divided
so they can do as they will still.

As they hold the world hostage
and bleed us and our kids dry,
make us develop technology
so we'll stay fearful we may die.

People dying at this moment
for hope of freedom by democracy,
as the greedy wring their hands
for potential gain by this hypocrisy.

By controlling the worlds economy
protected by military might,
they sit atop the world smiling
as we destroy die and fight.

So don't expect change to happen
from those leading from the top,
for their interest is only in
holding the power they've got.

So it is for all that I write this
as a plea to all common people,
in hope it makes it obvious to all
it's up to us to end such evil.

Though we must accept for a time
how things are a little longer,
I hope many will rise for justice
and the voice of reason even stronger.

I can't help but to imagine
all the wealth spent on war,
could provide so many good things
we'd wonder what we fought for?

So let us measure those who govern
based on their more humble service,
and deny them for any arrogance
and make them prove they deserve us.

Let shame fall upon any person
who directs others to kill,
for they serve the belly of evil,
oceans of blood can't even fill.
