|With life’s glowing passions, the world seems somehow better,
With a saintly word or two penned thoughtfully, then smoother…
Those stylish words, descriptive text, now you’ve got a poem –
Those metaphors and similes, just how you choose to write ‘em!
A poet’s style, becoming art, with zest and harmony,
Unforced rhyme and meter making ideal company.
Lessons told, and lusty passion, lovers intertwined –
God and peace, divinely taught, and thoughts so neatly lined!
Writing poems strikes a chord within a poet’s heart,
A tribute to that faithful person’s every stop and start…
The truth becomes a masterpiece that’s often quite revealing –
Catharsis, such a timely gift, so filled with hope and feeling!
