get to heaven
Rated: E | Poetry | Adult | #1856256
how do you turn before you hit bottom or worse crash
How do you get to heaven from here?
And how do you make the devil disappear
So many times the paths not always clear
Roads without signs, a conscience without fear
I know your there, I’ve felt your presence
If you hear my words, show me the lessons
Trees can only bend so far before they snap in two
Don’t turn your back on me now, there’s much to do
I am your servant, who’s fallen from grace
For all my mistakes, not one I can erase
Look down from the heavens with all your glorious light
And guide me on this path, so that I may do what is right
