A poem about nature
Trapped in open space.
The fresh air holds me.
Leave, I can't, but would I want to
When I'm kept here by the stars?

Handcuffed to the ground by weeds.
Only person, yet not alone.
The spirit of nature consumes me
As wind whistles near my face.

Stars in the sky.
An everlasting light show.
Leaves crinkle and dance with the wind
So elegantly, so free.

Trees wave with the wind.
A sharp greeting, so harsh.
A stroke of wind runs through the branches
As I'm glued to the Earth.

The world breathes wind.
Earth is never still.
Moving, we are rotating:
The spirit of nature consumes me.
