A brutally honest and dark poem about abuse and giving back what was given out.

Take it back
Right up the ass
Turn it to the side
All sharp edges defined
Place it deep inside
Be left to wonder why
Feel the shame
The weight of such pain
Be burdened with spoiled skin
Fight to figure how to live
Wonder why there is so much hate
When there was nothing that you had done
Feel so very much unloved
Wonder how it could be done
How such an unconditional love
Could have so many conditions
Live such an altered fate
Shoved right up your ass
A perennial state of disgrace
That can never be escaped
Pretend if you can
If you could ever dare
That you are a child
An innocent vessel of life
Ripped open from both sides
Left naked and exposed
Raw to the depths of the soul
Then maybe you will know
Maybe you could be exposed
To all that I feel
And all that I have ever known
Take it back
Keep it close
Never let such a thing go
It will always be yours
Just as it will always be mine
You gave it to me without regard
Now I am giving it back
With all that you intended
Forcefully applied
You will know just as I
What such pain feels like
On deepest parts of your inside…
