Tears to Dry
Rated: E | Poetry | Friendship | #1863638
I sometimes get depressed and it can be really lonley-- hence, this piece.

Wipe away your tears,
be reminiscent to the loneliness of yesteryear.
Turn ahead time to a place,
where time is not emptiness--
But, merely a joyful filled space.
Acquire a taste for friendship,
letting this help the feelings of sadness be replaced.
Do not cry my friend;
It's time now no more playing pretend,
the pain you have felt is coming to an end.
I cannot promise no more glares,
No empty conversations--
Or even those endless mean sneers.
But, the love you seek my friend,
has long since been in arrears;
And anytime you need it you can always find it here.
As I am sure you know
sometimes "lifes" future,
seems kind of bleak.
I ask you, please my friend,
don't let this be--
What continues to make your heart weak.
Know in your mind,
that someone will always be there;
And when they're not,
They will have you in prayer.
