Reminder of where God is when darkness sets in and when the light shines again.
When hope fades and
none are left to stay,
my Lord is still there.

When the darkness stays and
hope turns away,
my Lord is still there.

He shines out all the clearer
in the darkness,
for the dark is no dark to Him,
the blackest night is as the day.

Therefore I will hope in the Lord,
He is my light and my strength,
in Him I will hope all the day long.
