A dark poem about getting what is deserved from those who hurt me most of all in life.

Pay me my right
Give what you can
What you certainly must
Everything seems quite fair
I demand recompense
Services rendered
Grievously I was injured
Such wounds will never heal
You got what you wished
Quite forcefully I must insist
All that you desired was provided
Each ounce of flesh was bled
In a state of anemia I remain
Sickened by you as well as myself
Unable to escape the chains
That you attached to my soul
The required price will be paid
I will stand for nothing less
All that is yours
Is a sum that would be adequate
I demand payment
Avoid absolute and certain hatred
Leave me without resentment
Leave me without a bad taste in my mouth
Pay me my right
I will only accept it all
If you try to renege
If you try to break the back of your promise
I will take everything short of your life
I will leave you a broken and shattered
Form of your once relentless self
You will suffer far longer than I
You will beg for death
You will swear your allegiance
To anyone that can save you
No one will come
No one will lend you a stage
Your cries will go unheard
Just like mine once did
I demand recompense
Such ideological damage
Has left me incapable of belief
I once listened to all that you said
For a time it was considered fact
I was once sure that you were good for it
I no longer believe that is the case
I sought you out
Easily finding you in plain sight
You tried to escape us before
Long after I was your whore
I am now much older and hopefully wiser
I know what to expect
And I will take nothing less
