The Unforgettable Scream
Rated: E | Short Story | Experience | #1866922
Living in a home like the one I live people die due to natural causes.
At Cherry Poiint Bay, where I live, are quite a few people who are old enough that they could die any time. Well, one night months ago there was a scream that I heard. It came from a CNA. I don't know who it was that died but they did and it set the CNA off to scream.

It is still ringing in my ears as if it just happened. It is something that leaves an uneasy feeling. It is an experience that happens all the time. But it is a happening that has a hard feeling about it. Why hard? Because it is a hard way to go no matter how it was that they went. I would scream too should my roommate pass away. He is in his seventies. He could die at any time and if he were to go before I did then you can bet that I would do some screaming.

It is something that is hautning and it is something that is hard to digest. There are so many people here that aee the age that they could go at any time. I dont blame the CNA. She had a right to scream. Facing death in the face is something to scream about.
