Life is Something Beautiful
Rated: E | Short Story | Nature | #1867088
Just a thought that came to omind and wanted to write about it here.
Life is something beautiful.  For it is a gift of God.  It is not to be taken forgranted.  Though many including myself will do that very thing.  I know it is a gift and it can be cut off at any time.

James, a man I know, took life for granted and was later sorry he did. He had become terminally ill and was wondering why it had to be him.  Why couldn't it had been someone else  The question which is old to begin was asked of James.  He wanted to liive so much longer than his brothers did.  He had three brothers who died at an early age.

There was a brief time when he wouldn't say anything.  He would stare out the window and wonder to himself why he must die.  It was a sad time for James.  He had done so much with his life.  He was the owner of a store.  An electronics store was what he had.  He had the latest equipment to sell.  He was the master of his own ship.  He was finally on top of the world.  He was also going to die.  What was wrong with him?  He had a rare blood disease that the doctor gave him a few months to live.  He wasn't prepared to die.  He didn't know the Savior in a personal way.  So he was heading for Hell.  It was going to happen and he wouldn't  be able to stop it.  But the he ffound the way out and cried out to God and asked to be forgiven.  He was and when it came his time to die he was ready and one day I will see James or men like him.  That is the blessed hope.  .
