Away with the fairies
Rated: E | Poetry | Other | #1867446
A little girl who's away with the fairies.
The sun shone down, ever so lightly,
Touching my face with its rays.
The grass seemed to wave,
As the wind blew on by,
That I couldn’t help but wave back.
I knew people thought,
That I was stupid,
To walk the cliffs by myself.
But only I knew,
That the fairies would walk with me,
Whatever path I chose.
So away I went,
Off to my world where the fairies lived.
So that is why,
My parents decided,
To be gentle with what they wrote.
They ended putting only this:
A bright little girl,
Away with the fairies.
