At the End of the Tunnel...
Rated: ASR | Poetry | Emotional | #1867501
True love saved my life. Without him I would have died years ago.
Lost in darkness, endless fear
Led astray by pain and hate
How long must I suffer here?
Too much more will be too late

But in the distance is a light
Coming for me here and now
Suddenly a future bright...
Don't know why and don't know how

Someone near to lift me up
Take my hand and hold me dear
When I thought my time was up
Pull me back and quell my fear

Happiness I thought I'd lost
Wrapped around me, always there
Wond'ring what may be the cost
It could be high, but I don't care

Nothing now can bring me down
Always will I have my sun
My stars at night; and when I frown
I always have my special One

There is no other word to show
The way you make me feel inside
For what but Love could strongly grow
To save me when I thought I'd died.
