So Angry ‘til Now
Rated: E | Poetry | Philosophy | #1868071
A rhyming poem about dealing with anger through one's selfless humanity.
So completely furious and quite beside myself,
Angry over something lost, my life put on the shelf.
A blatant lack of honesty, playing silly games,
I’m ready to throw punches soon, taking on rude names.

Truly aggravated now, as people pass the buck,
Never has this human being suffered such bad luck.
Screaming loud, slamming doors, knocking down a chair,
Feeling in my heart of hearts that life cannot be fair.

To maintain perspective and stay calm, truly my decision,
The world revolves around a man if he has tunnel vision.
Getting angry over nothing, still my solemn right,
As long as other people’s plans are never out of sight.

Life is such a challenge that I must support the team,
Caring for my fellow man is now my only dream!
All my needs can now be met by driving forth this duty,
Sacrifice and selfless giving adding to life’s beauty.
