Alone
Rated: E | Short Story | Dark | #1869054
A girl with a terrible worries is alone in her world.
Now that she is alone, she has time to think. Her head spins and everything returns to her. Memories that she would rather forget. Like a dream, the quiet grows louder and more unbearable. She has thoughts that will never escape her and all she wants is peace, and for the thoughts to disappear. But the problem is, no matter what, you are stuck with yourself and whatever problems you stumble across forever.

No matter how hard she tries, she cannot shut out the voices in her mind. The thoughts, the voices will be there for eternity. The horrible secrets trapped inside her are painfully bursting to be released, she has never felt so isolated, so alone within herself.

When her friends return, the thoughts are bottled back up inside her. She can ignore them, for now. But ignoring something doesn't make it disappear.
