Memorial Day

Memorial Day is a day to remember the fallen heros of the wars that have been fought. At least, that is the meaning I attribute to the holiday. i believe it is also for the ssrvicemen and women who are still serving and dying for our country. These men and women have answered the call of I Want You long ago and recently.

Have you ever seen a serviceman and asked yourself what made them choose to serve in the armed forces? It is a calling that is right and needed in this world. It is a call that very few people are built for becoming a serviceman or woman. It takes someone who is strong and determined to serve in the service. I have been privileged to know several men who have answered the call and have served their country well. I am really blessed for having been associated with them.

I have been on a militsry base and seen the many men who have answered the call. I felt that I was in good company. There was a certaiin freedom that was all mine to feel and there was a sense of pride found in the men who were serving.

So, when this holiday comes around speak up and let it be known of how grateful you are for the ones who have served and are still serving. Make this holiday the best ever for them and yourself.
