No Restrictions Assignment 2
Tone: light and humorous throughout the story with a bit of sadness about Olivia and how she was lonely. It was effective because the sentences were short and there were funny incidents that happened with the story ending up at no one's favor.
Mood: funny and amusing. It was effective since the story has colourful brief description and quick movement.
Tense: The first sentence and the last one were in the present tense for they stated Olivia's habits. The rest of the story was written using the past tense. It seemed appropriate.
Point of view: First person. It seemed a good choice because the other characters thoughts were not needed here, also it helped to get the reader close to the story and the events.
