The biggest and beautiful.
It starts out as a seed. Then, after a few days, it grows a main root to start soaking up the water and nutrients out of the soil. In a few weeks its head will pop up from the soil, then quickly after feeling the warmth of the sun and the light it brings the sprouts' leaves open up. Over a period of two to three months the flower grows, losing its old leaves and making bigger and stronger ones. It grows taller, everyday, until it hits eight to nine feet above the ground. The flower heads follow the sun. The warmth of the air and sun begins to fade, taking away the energy needed to thrive. The leaves fall, the flower shrinks, then finally vanishes beneath the snow. Leaving behind seeds to follow its path next year.
